During the winter season, we will spoil you at La Grotta raclette fondue restaurant in Switzerland with various traditional meat fondues, cheese fondues, dishes from the hot stone to grill yourself and original Swiss raclette a la discretion. A special highlight is the Fondue Chinoise Original, with Asian components. In our typical Swiss raclette and fondue restaurant, you can choose from a selection of over 100 Swiss wines or from the large wine list with 1000 items. If you are with us in a group and someone is not in the mood for fondue, raclette & co., we are happy to serve you our dishes from the La Pasta restaurant in Samnaun, which is located directly above La Grotta.
La Grotta was furnished with the ancient wood of a Samnaun barn and offers an incomparably rustic and cosy ambience.
For a successful cheese fondue you need the perfect cheese mixture, which we get directly from the Sennerei in Samnaun. The cheese for our raclette travels a little further. It comes in whole cheese wheels from the Valais in south-western Switzerland. It is cut in half in our raclette fondue restaurant in Samnaun, Switzerland, and clamped in the large raclette ovens. Meat & vegetables are sourced either from the Engadin or the neighbouring Tyrol. The chocolate fondue tastes best with Swiss chocolate, of course!
