Ear Candling

Ear candling is used as a gentle, perfectly safe, and relaxing home remedy for cleaning the ears. Ear candling can help cleanse you of ear wax, powdery residue left by allergies or infections, drainage from the middle ear (sticky, yellowish or green residue) and dirt. This procedure is simple, fast, painless, and has been used for thousands of years. Some benefits include improved hearing, regulate pressure and a feeling of pure relaxation. This treatment goes along with a facial massage which brings essential oils deep into your skin. This treatment is especially effective in dissolving the lachrymal sack, to prevent swellings and to bring a visual lifting effect.
How does the ear candle work?
Because of the cone shape of the candle, the smoke is pulled down into the ear canal causing it to warm up and loosen the wax and any other debris. As the candle heats up, it creates a suction by creating a vacuum in the ear canal. The mixture of the heat and the vacuum draw out the wax and other debris from the ear canal into the base of the candle. You may hear cracking which is the removing the wax as the candle burns down although the warmness feels very relaxing during the process.
